CIBANO 500: One device – three functions
The CIBANO 500 combines a micro-ohmmeter, a multi-chronograph and a coil and motor power supply. All important circuit breaker tests can be performed, even when there is no auxiliary power supply to the substation.
Its innovative connection technology cuts wiring and time in half. In addition, the included Primary Test Manager Software™ (PTM) and Circuit Breaker Testing Library (CBTL) ensure convenient operation and produce a clear, concise report of all tests performed.
One system for all types of circuit breakers
The CIBANO 500 is the ideal test system for
- medium voltage circuit breakers,
- high-voltage circuit breakers, whether they have a live tank, an earthed tank or are in metal-enclosed substations (PSEM / GIS).
Reduced rewiring operations allow for very short tests. The integrated power supply ensures safe and independent operation. With live tank circuit breakers and high-voltage PSEMs, response time measurements can be performed with both sides of the circuit breaker earthed. With earthed tank circuit breakers and high-voltage PSEMs, the integrated CTs can be demagnetized.
